Reflecting on My Professional Practice Presentation and Others

The first slide will just show off some images of the things i made during the asset pack and game dev, for example concept art or workshop models.

SLide1

For the second slide i talked about what went well and what i could’ve done to improve the asset pack. I also included 3 images that i made in the asset pack. So the Bridge model was a nicely made model but was un-textured, where as the barrel was a simple model and looked well textured and lastly the crate which was a very simple model but poorly textured.

Feedback

Project 1

My strengths were clear and i was able to identify my weaknesses, i think i couldve turned the weaknesses into strengths and stated what i could have done differently.

I identified that i enjoyed the concept art a lot more than anything else which is shown in the last slide.

Project 3

I’m the strengths and weaknesses i could have limited the amount of text i used to avoid boring people with too much talking about one slide.

I was able to talk about future projects, e.g the end of the course and going to university.

Presentation Skills

I was able to give a clear introduction to the presentation, although i do need to avoid too much text as it can make people lose interest in the presentation.

Visually the presentation was good and it was good to look over sketchfab models. The final slide i was able to identify the things i enjoyed the most and what i could’ve improved on.

Reflecting on others presentations

I’m just going to briefly go over what i thought of the others presentation skills. The first one i’m going to talk about is Courtney’s presentation, he spoke very clearly and was able to keep people intrigued by how well the slides were presented.

The next presentation i’m going to talk about is Oliver’s. Oliver’s presentation was well presented and he didn’t really have to look at the board for guidance but he did speak for a long time which can make people lose interest in your presentation fast/
